We're doing things a little differently from here on out, guys.
aaronlisa brought up lowering the amount of fics due, and I agree with her. We're still sorting out an exact number or a range, so bear with us. So for October, just count on having to write less.
Also remember that your September fics are still due by October 31st. Procrastinators, I'd start writing if I was you...
I'm also considering allowing original characters in established fandoms to be allowed as of this month. Basically, if you have an OC in, say, a CSI: Miami/CSI: NY AU that has an established character/OC relationship (why, that would be one of my series, I think), you could claim your OC or a pairing with your OC. The rule about having to wait two more months before you can claim that OC again would still be in effect; if the OC is in an established pairing, you could claim either the pairing or the established character the next month (provided the established character isn't already taken).
As soon as we get these new rules clarified, I'll open up claims. But to be nice, I'll give you the prompt for Octobernow.
The prompt will be...Slipping. Take this to mean whatever you think it means: falling down, going back to bad habits, etc. Just keep this in mind when I open up the new prompt claims, okay? And as soon as I say you're approved, you can start writing/posting.
