Kyon and Haruhi were leaving the SOS Brigade club-room on the last day before break.

"So," Kyon asked, "Got any plans for break? Going somewhere with your family? Or maybe you're just going to sleep in and watch TV?"

"As if! The SOS Brigade can never rest!" Haruhi suddenly grabbed Kyon's student-uniform necktie again. "Somewhere there's danger! Somewhere there's injustice! Somewhere else, the tea's getting cold! Come on, Kyon, we've got work to do!"

Kyon smiled to himself, even as he stumbled out of the club-room behind Haruhi. At least it won't be a boring break, he thought to himself.
