Yes. Although every third month we do run amnesty rounds, so if you don't get a chance to finish a claim during the month you can finish it during that month.
That's why it's a short number of required fics (either three-five 500+ fics or 5-7 100-500 fics.)
For example, October was our last amnesty round and I used it to post fics from September. Our next one will be January.
