Amount of fics due each month: There is now a range. If you are writing drabbles (100 - 500 words), you can now write anywhere from 5 to 7, but you must write at least five. If you are writing fic/ficlets (501+ words) you can now write anywhere from 3 - 5, but you must write at least three. You can always write more, BTW.
Original characters in established fandoms: This is now allowed. Feel free to make claims for them so long as you place them in established fandoms.
