Michael lay in his dark warehouse of a home, on his bed. A small speaker sat at his side issuing silence. The heat of the Miami night caused him to attempt sleep with nothing but the thin sheet wrapped around his waist. He watched the ceiling and wound and unwound a string on his fist as he thought. Thought about the case, thought about his burn, and considered every option for both predicaments.
