"EEEEE!!" said Haruhi. "The SOS Brigade's secret stash of snacks is almost depleted! Do you realize what this means!?"

"You didn't buy enough snacks for five hungry teenagers?" Kyon asked.

"NO!!" Haruhi gestured grandly. "This is the work of a master sneak-thief, smuggling our supplies when no one's looking!!"

As if on cue, Yuki walked up. The tiny girl slowly and deliberately grabbed an armful of apples, wrapped snack buns, boxes of Pocky, and bottles of water, and silently returned to her reading corner, leaving the cupboard bare.

"I think," Kyon said to Haruhi, "that I'm sticking with my theory."
