Gibbs heard the annoying ringing and chose to ignore it. That warm blissful sleep, still had him in its clutches and he was unwilling to let it go.

The phone finally stopped and he snuggled his face into his pillow with a sigh.

The silence remained until Gibbs had almost reclaimed his dreams. Its shrill biting sound filled the darkness of the room again. He remained determined to not get out of bed, answer it or fully wake. Abby rolled into his chest with a groan.

"Make it stop," she whispered.

His arm behind her back pulled her closer as he tried hard to ignore the sound. It was a relentless annoying jingle of torture.

Abby found the groove of his neck with her face.

"It's Saturday," she whined. "Make it go away." She adjusted her body against his chasing his body heat.

He slung his arm towards the table as the phone finally fell silent.

"Oh thank goodness," she mumbled. He cursed the phone as she adjusted the covers.

Abby's hand had strayed to his hair and sleep felt within his grasp when a new, slightly muffled jingle sounded. This ring was from his cell phone. He was certain it was across the room in his jacket pocket.

He felt the last moments of a peaceful sleep fade completely. Abby heaved a huge sigh, the rush of air causing a path of goosebumps across his skin.

"What time is it?"

"Dunno." He smiled in the darkness when the ringing stopped.

"Don't get comfortable, wait for the voicemail."

"Probably DiNozzo. Must be a case. So much f-"

His sentence stopped abruptly as Abby's lips began to kiss a path down his neck and across his bare shoulder.

She sat up and tossed the covers back.

"I'll make the coffee."

He groaned when she flipped on the lights. He cracked his eyes long enough to check the clock.

3:04 am.

He really hoped DiNozzo was prepared for the mood he was already developing. He sat up and rubbed his hands across his face. He needed a cup of coffee.
